Interview with One Back Football

Our CEO and co-founder, Adam Redmond, recently sat down with the team at One Back Football for a deep dive into the why and how behind Tully’s mission to transform athlete development across the country. The conversation wasn’t just about technology—it was a shared commitment to serving coaches and athletes with tools that work in the real world.

From NFL Locker Rooms to High School Weight Rooms

Before founding Tully, Adam spent six years in the NFL, mostly with the Dallas Cowboys. That experience on the field—as a player surrounded by elite resources—shaped his understanding of what’s missing at the high school and youth levels: simple, effective tools that help coaches and athletes develop with confidence.

With his longtime friend and Harvard teammate, Michael Mancinelli, Adam co-founded Tully to fill that gap. Their goal? To build affordable, flexible software that adapts to any team’s setup—no matter the budget, size, or level of experience.

What Makes Tully Different?

Tully isn’t another complex, high-priced data platform built for pros. It’s a simple system of record for athletic development—designed for real-world coaches juggling 100-1000+ athletes, chaotic schedules, and tight resources.

Here’s what sets it apart:

  • Real-time data collection and feedback with live leaderboards

  • Customizable metrics and attendance tracking

  • Individual athlete progress reports accessible to athletes, coaches, and parents

  • The Tully Score – a universal, coach-controlled score to drive engagement and track performance

The result? Less time on data entry. More time coaching. And a culture where athletes actually see their growth.

“If you aren’t measuring it, you can’t manage it. There’s so much value in showing athletes that their hard work is paying off—and that’s what we’ve built Tully to do.” – Adam Redmond

A Shared Mission with One Back Football

Adam emphasized how aligned Tully is with One Back Football’s mission: to empower coaches with accessible, practical resources that actually improve the experience on the ground. It’s not about flashy features or over-engineered hardware. It’s about helping coaches win back their time and help athletes reach their potential.

This shared vision made the partnership a no-brainer.

The Bottom Line

At Tully, we believe coaches are leaders, mentors, and builders of character. They shape the future every day. That’s why we’ve built a platform designed to support them—giving back time, driving engagement, and raising the bar for athlete development.

And we’re proud to partner with organizations like One Back Football that share that vision.
