From the October 27 HHS webinar
What schools
need to know.
The focus is participation, a positive student experience, and a practical approach that can continue. Tully turns your implementation into a clear, documented submission.
This is a prize challenge. What does that mean?
Awards recognize work already completed or underway. An untested idea is not enough. Tully helps you put the PFT into practice, document what happened, and explain your next steps.
What goes into the application?
Track 1 allows a one-page cover and up to ten narrative pages. Track 2 allows a one-page cover and up to three narrative pages. Both require reach verification. Tully prepares the narrative and organizes supporting materials for your review. Submissions use aggregate or de-identified evidence, without individual student scores or health information.
Can we start with a pilot?
The webinar confirmed that implementation can begin with a pilot, supported by a credible plan to reach the wider student population. HHS verifies reach and tier placement. Tully helps document your participation, lessons learned, and expansion plan.
How is Tully’s partnership structured?
The proposed arrangement splits a covered cash award received 50/50: your school or district retains 50%, and Tully receives 50% for the agreed services. Equipment credits are excluded. This payment arrangement remains subject to program clarification and final agreement. Your organization remains the applicant and award recipient.
Are student awards the same as school prizes?
No. The PFT measures cardiovascular endurance, upper-body strength, and core strength for students ages six and older. Individual student recognition is separate from the cash and equipment prizes awarded to schools and organizations through this Challenge.
